Meet Domaine La Réméjeanne
We take you to the Rhône Valley, on the very border of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The family of Domaine La Réméjeanne pride themselves on expressing the unique terroir of their land in their wines. They do this by embracing biodynamic farming.
Inspired by Italian landscapes, Olivier Klein planted a variety of trees, from peach and pear to almond and pistachio, to enrich the land and nourish the vines. This boosts soil biodiversity and improves overall health.
Since taking over the business from his father in 2010, Olivier has reduced the vineyard area from 36 to 25 hectares. This allows him to focus more on quality than quantity. With no neighbours and a fertile, flowering soil, the vines flourish in a pristine environment. This environment shapes the flavour of each grape and leads to exceptional wines.
Olivier is forward thinking and works closely with geologists to adapt to the changing climate and ensure he is working with the best soil types to naturally nourish his vines.
His goal? To refine and perfect the vineyard year after year. Ultimately, it is this dedication to quality and sustainability that sets their wines apart.
We are excited that you can now taste them too.
